About Abby

I have been babysitting and nannying since I was very young and have experience with kids of all ages. I absolutely love kids; I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education, and I was a teacher in Salt Lake City for 3 years. I taught first, second and third grade and loved every second of it! I have tutored elementary school kids in every subject and have my English as a second language certification. I quit my teaching job to move to Europe with my husband for 2 years, which was an amazing adventure, but we are now settled in Denver with our labradoodle, Kendall. I am a very dependable and punctual person looking for a part time position. I especially love working with infants and toddlers and have experience with both. With older kids I love doing arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and can help students with reading or homework of any kind. I also love cooking and cleaning and can help prepare meals or any light housework you may need.
