My 10 month old son really enjoyed Abby the four times she cared for him while I was working from home. She was very fun, attentive and played with him nonstop. Abby was very understanding of my occasional schedule changes and hopped in an Uber when she had car trouble so as not to cancel on me. However, a few days after agreeing to be our main nanny, she informed me that she had taken a nearly full-time dog walking job and would be unable to nanny for the next two weeks. I was disappointed (and honestly confused), but she assured me I didn't need to look for a new nanny because she would be back after the dog sitting job. Unfortunately, when I texted to set up her next visit, she responded saying she had also taken a second new job and would not be returning to nanny for us. This gave me less than a week to start the search for a new nanny... not professional.
