About Abbie

I'm Abbie! I am an 18-year-old culinary student who just moved to the city in August. I have some experience working with older people, I used to work as a server in the dining room of a retirement home, my favorite part about that job was talking to the residents, listening to the stories they had to tell, and sneaking them extra ice cream after dinner. I also have some experience taking care of my grandpa, who has advanced parkinson's and dementia, we liked to go for walks in the sunshine, make lunch together, and watch old western movies. I understand that sometimes people simply need a companion, someone to sit with and talk to, or share meals with. I am patient, reliable, talkative, but also a good listener.
