Hi, I'm Abbie! From a very young age I've always taken an interest in helping kids learn and grow! I started babysitting independently around the age of 16 and haven't looked back since. After graduating high school I became a nanny for a family with a 5m daughter. When their kiddo turned 2 she started daycare and that's when I began looking for my next adventure! In 2020 I was hired as the head teacher of the 1yr old class room at a childcare center where I stayed for approximately 3. 5yrs years. Within those 3. 5yrs I also worked closely with the 2yr old class and the preschool class! I left the daycare in 2024 and decided to become a nanny again! I met a family with a 5m old son and 2yr old daughter who I got along extremely well with. Unfortunately now, almost a year later, I am no longer needed as their nanny and I'm ready to make connections with new families/kids! We highly recommend Abbie for any full-time nanny position. She has been a wonderful part of our family for the past 10 months caring for our 15 month old son full-time. Abbie also occasionally helps care for our 2 year old daughter when she does not go to daycare. Abbie began caring for our son full time when he was just 5 months old and has played an instrumental role in his growth and development. We truly credit Abbie’s care, patience, and attention for so much of that progress. From day one, Abbie demonstrated a genuine passion for child development. She engaged our son in daily creative activities such as arts and crafts, music, and interactive play. Abbie prioritized hands-on learning and meaningful engagement. Her approach fostered curiosity, independence, confidence, and joy in our son. Our children adore Abbie! Beyond childcare, Abbie has been an incredible household support. She routinely helped prepare meals, managed our children’s laundry, and assisted with light household tasks -all with efficiency and care. Her reliability and strong work ethic made her an invaluable member of our household. Abbie is dependable, trustworthy, and has a natural warmth that children respond to instantly.
