About Aaliyah

Hello! My name is Aaliyah, and I have 16 years of experience working with children in both educational and supportive environments. I currently work in SpEd and previously worked as a Site Coordinator for an after-school program serving over 300 elementary students. I've worked as a Social Worker supporting children and families, which strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations. My background has helped me develop strong patience, adaptability, and communication skills while supporting children with emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. I genuinely enjoy creating safe, supportive, and engaging environments where children feel comfortable, encouraged, and understood. I value building trust with both children and families and believe consistency, kindness, and positive communication are extremely important.
