About who needs care: Sharp as a tack but had a fall recently and broke her kneecap. Estimated 6-10 weeks recovery. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.

We are a family of four with a 3-year-old and a 6-month-old looking for someone to help with keeping the house in order on a part time basis. We have a full time nanny and a weekly cleaner, so the ideal candidate would help with filling the gaps - doing light daily cleaning and laundry, helping with errands, and helping watch the children before the nanny arrives. Cleaning - - cleaning the kitchen/dishes (we rarely cook so, this would mostly consist of cleaning the children's utensils and the toaster oven/air fryer) - doing laundry - weekly trip to the grocery store - weekly trip to dry cleaners - helping keep the pantry organized/ checking the refrigerator for expired food. Child care Watch the children in the mornings before the nanny arrives. -Feed them breakfast Potentially assist with preschool drop off.

We're looking for someone to help provide care for my mother, who is 81 and suffers from dementia. She does converse, and remembers who people are, but has significant short term memory loss. She needs companionship, help preparing meals, and transportation for running errands and trips to the doctors office. We are looking for someone who can: Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to stimulate cognitive function. Plan and organize daily activities, exercise routines, and outings. Provide assistance with personal care and daily living tasks. Currently, she has a caregiver two mornings per week, and we are looking to add another person for two additional days, for about 4 hours on each day. The daytime hours are flexible, and the most important thing is a good fit! She is very close to her mini Schnauzer!

Hello, I live in Ballston and work in public policy. I am a quiet, clean professional who has had some health challenges the last year and, I am choosing not to drive. I am looking for someone 2 a week for 2-3 hours to drive me wherever I need to go and wait for me starting around July 5th. That might be to the gym to workout/swim and then to the grocery store or it could to get a haircut/manicure, then to a doctor, and to do another errand. All in the DC/NVA area, but to places it will be hard to get to or take an excessive time via metro/bus/Uber. You need a clean driving record, clean car and willingness to drive/wait for me and at times transport my 'stuff' like groceries. You are welcome to do whatever I am doing. We will decide what works on the weekend prior, The pay is from pick-up to drop-off.
