About who needs care: She suffer a hemorrhagic stroke, needed 4 neuro surgeries, stayed 7 months in therapy clinics, she has not insured and the attention was not good. We decided bring her home. Now we have Medicaid and United Healthcare. Our children does not live with us. So, I have to attend her day and night, is paralyzed side right, can not do almost nothing. I had to leave my job, and I wonder if could I receive some payment for this work. But I really do not know nothing about it. I need to speak - better in Spanish - to give me instruction. Actually, I need to do important errands, and I have not time, besides I am exhaust. I am 63 and my wife is overweight 200 Lbs. So, probably we need contract other attendant some hours a week. Thank You.
About the care needs: I explained our situation. I have been doing the work for 7 months. I will keep take care and probably contract another care giver, prefer Female to be able to lift 50Lbs. No special skills.
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
