I am a retired practical nurse who specialized in geriatric care. I have several years experience doing home care and enjoy the value and lessons my elders still continue to teach me. I love people and love to talk but just as much love to listen to their stories. I also have medical experience with wound care, tube feelings, catheters, First Aid, have been certified in CPR for over 20 years, and of course adl's. I love pets, don't smoke, don't mind driving to store or doctors.

I enjoy helping others, making their lives easier, striving to make them comfortable and giving them the best care possible with the dignity they deserve. I spent a lot of time with my grandparents growing up and then when they were in nursing homes. I loved interacting with the residents. I'm outgoing, compassionate, and work well with people. I'm nurturing with a happy demeanor. I was a stay at home mom when my children were young so I volunteered, was VP of the PTA, and a Girl Scout leader. I would take my troop to nursing homes to bring joy to the residents. I loved putting a smile on their faces so when I rejoined the work force I knew this line of work was something I would love. This is my passion and it is very rewarding. I have helped clients who have had major strokes, elderly clients with Alzheimer's/ dementia, Parkinson's, ALS, and who have required significant help with mobility using lifts, bathing, dressing, incontinence, feeding, medication management etc.

Hello, I am Marybeth, a retired Registered Nurse looking for part time work approximately 20 - 25 hrs/ week. I am patient , kind, live an active, healthy lifestyle, and enjoy being outdoors. I have experience in long term care facilities and hospice and enjoy engaging with seniors to help keep them as active as possible both physically and mentally.. My CPR/First Aid and Criminal Background check are current, prefer female care, that can include other light chores, but prefer no driving of clients due to liability. I've worked as a Nursing Assistant in a dementia unit for 6 years and have worked in home health. I have experience with Adults and children with Autism as well. I am told I give great bed baths, and am a pleasure to talk to. I speak German, but am always up for learning new languages. I love animals and making others smile.

I am 19 years old, I'm currently in college right now working towards a nursing degree. I've always loved taking care of people so as soon as I turned 18 I knew exactly what I wanted to do to get a jump start on my nursing experience. I can take care of anyone from bed ridden, wheelchair bound, or someone who is able to get around but needs help at times. I am CPR certified, I am trained to do transfers, meal preparation, bed baths, showers, denture care, dressing and undressing clients, pill reminder, really anything you can think of that is in a CNA description is what I can do and what I am trained to do.

Hi! I am a dedicated, hardworking and compassionate medical/nursing assistant with over 13 years of diverse healthcare experience. Six of those years were elderly care focused. I was 9 years old when I helped care for my great grandmother with Alzheimer's. Raised in a home where we cared for our elderly/ill relatives inspired me to help others in this way. It was after taking care of my mother with ovarian cancer that I went to school and got my CNA license. I have experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's and cancer patients.

I have worked as a trauma surgery nurse for 21 years at Wake Med Raleigh. There, I worked with general surgery patients and post-trauma patients whose ages were greater than 18 years old. I retired in September 2015. I have 3 awesome children and a wonderful husband. I miss being with patients and would love to work some part-time hours.
