I am a registered nurse and swing days and nights in the same week but overnight care would not be needed as my MIL lives close and my husband is home every night. he is a coal miner and works steady daylight at the moment, home by 430 p.m. most days.
our current sitter watches our children as well as a couple others in her home. she is currently pregnant, due in May, & is estimated to be off for 2-3 weeks after the baby. she does not watch kids on weekends, kids must be out by 430, and takes extended periods off for holidays. which is where we need these spots filled.
children are very well-behaved; 4 yr old is well-mannered and respectful. no special needs. Our ideal caregiver: Ideally looking for a soft older woman, patient but energetic. I can bring them to your house if within reasonable distance to work, or you could come here. if coming to the house, I would expect light housekeeping. I would provide pre-packed meals and drinks for the children b/c I am particular about what they eat. must be reliable, responsible and neat. hours would be 6am-4 p.m.
this would mainly be through the week but a weekend day here & there may be a possibility.
schedule is done months ahead of time but there may be a pop-up spot here and there so caregiver must be flexible to an extent. Additional needs include light housekeeping, having a reliable car and a non-smoker. We could use help with structuring activities. Looking for a caregiver for my infant son and 4-year-old daughter. My schedule may vary.
