Hi, my name is Jess. My husband and I recently bought a home with our two girls. I am looking to be a SAHM and watch 2 other siblings 18 months-5 years of age. I have availability starting June 18th. I can start my day as early as 6:30 A.M. and wrap up the day by 4:00 P.M. Currently, I work as a Lead Infant Teacher at a Montessori School. I have been there since August of 2012. Prior to that, I worked as a substitute paraprofessional in the Bloomington and Minnetonka School Districts. Ever since I was young, I have helped watch over children and when I was in 6th grade, I started babysitting for a family that grew to 3 children by the time I was in high school. I will have a schedule planned out for each day. Activities will include: arts and crafts, circle time, music, movement, weather permitting outdoor activities, reading/storytelling, 5 senses, alphabet/letter recognition and sounds, colors, shapes, number sense, games and so much more. The power of play and paying attention to sensitive periods of learning are very important in my mind. I will be implementing self help and practical life skills along with stressing manners, following rules, and listening. All toy bins are labeled so we can learn how to pick up after ourselves! I also like to label many other items around the house for word recognition. For nap time, I have a pack and play and will provide mats to sleep on in a quiet bedroom with white noise. Please email or message me back if you would like to meet and discuss further details. I will give my number to you then or you can give me yours. I look forward to hearing from you!
