Fun, Nature-loving, Nurturing Nanny Who Gardens!
I'm seeking work as a nanny on the side of my therapeutic horticulture career. I love working with kids, and have extensive experience working with youth from infants to teenagers at schools, daycares, and with families. I worked for a special education school as a therapeutic horticulturist and have training in the best ways to support kids with special needs, including students on the autism spectrum and students with behavioral challenges. I'd love to work for families who want their kids to get out and explore the natural world, from gardening activities to the occasional "field trip" to a local park or museum. If you're drawn to the idea of a nanny who will garden with your kids and get them to engage in a way that's enjoyable to them, please reach out to me and let's see if we're a good match!

WHO/WHAT: The kindest parents-to-be are starting their search for a long-term nanny for their baby boy, due in September! Mom and Dad are Midwesterners at heart and moved east in 2019 to pursue job opportunities. They eagerly look forward to welcoming a trustworthy, experienced, and nurturing nanny for their soon-to-arrive baby. They anticipate welcoming their nanny as an extension of their family, paving the way for excellent and honest communication. They envision their nanny fully integrating into their family, getting to know their infant as well as they do! They would love their nanny's help with household tasks such as the family laundry, tidying up, vacuuming/sweeping, washing and sanitizing baby bottles, and light meal prep for the family. They look forward to collaborative teamwork in the raising of this precious little boy-for instance, as the months pass and new and exciting milestones are reached, these parents hope their nanny will encourage things like tummy time, sitting up, and new foods, to name a few. For being first-time parents, they promise to become excellent employers for a stellar nanny by pursuing mutual respect, trust, honesty, and flexibility. An experienced, loving, and kind nanny who falls head over heels in love with a squishy new babe and promises 2-5 years would work best here! THE IDEAL NANNY: Patient, gentle, and interactive, you have previous experience caring for infants and are knowledgeable in those all-important first-year milestones. You will work together in tandem with these lovely parents as they ease into new parenthood by encouraging their family goals and growing together with their newest addition. This family highlighted the word "integrity" and we couldn't agree more. You're the nanny who is trustworthy, reliable, and good to your core. You pursue honesty and love both in your professional and personal relationships- those who meet you can't stop talking about what a wonderful person you are. You take the role of nannying to heart, knowing that as you are welcomed into a family's home you take an active part in shaping that child's life for years to come! This family will be a dream to work for and we can't wait to find them an equally awesome nanny to complete their family.
