Personally we care for our elders and in my family, my uncle had a stroke and I participated in his occasional care in the nursing home as a family member assisting staff. My own parents are elderly, but fortunately in good health. Yet caring for seniors is something I am currently very passionate about and honored to participate in.
Currently working in an Assisted Living Unit (ALU) with three (3) residents. Two of these residents are seniors. One is immobile, blind and non-verbal. The other is also immobile but verbal. They both need care bathing, household chores, laundry, meal plans and medication administration as ordered by their physicians. Sometimes have to transport them to Day Program.
It is an honor and pleasure to serve and support these individuals.
