K-12 Private Tutor

I am a college student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. I have many years of experience educating and tutoring children of all ages. I am new to private tutoring, but I have a strong love for education: In high school I helped run a LEGO Robotics team at a local elementary school, personally instructing kids in the fundamentals of engineering and programming. In college, I have worked with a volunteer organization to plan and deliver lessons in environmental sustainability to local elementary schools. During these times of quarantine, I have ran and managed a board game club for kids in junior high through college that meets monthly, and practices safe hygienic practices. The times of my life spent helping youth to grow have been the most rewarding, and I can't wait for my next opportunity!

Patrick Is so down to earth and easy-going. He is able to quickly connect with my 15 and 17-year-old sons who are enrolled in multiple AP classes. He is able to assist them in organization, planning out essays, research, and even pre-Calc and calculus. Many times my sons will procrastinate or complain or dread doing more homework, but when they know Patrick is coming, they are excited and eager. They get so much done in two hours! He keeps them on task, focused, and motivated. It's more than just the work, it's talking them through what they already know. He gives them the encouragement that a mom or a teacher just can't give. Patrick makes my sons feel more like Peers, building their confidence for future school work and life in general. Patrick Has an innate ability to build trust and friendship while teaching and accomplishing so much school work and improved study skills. I trust Patrick completely. I have known him for years and he has shown to be a rare find.
