Here at Kacey’s Custom Adventures, we strive to ensure that our customers have the best possible experience through the beautiful Kings Bay. All of our equipment is top of the line, new and clean, with our employees pressure washing them after every use. All of our vessels are crescent brand vessels, from our tandems, to single persons kayaks, to our hybrid paddle boards. Our crescent kayaks are sit on top with supportive, comfortable, adjustable chairs. Along with the kayak of your choosing we also provide you with a complimentary dry bag, and a map marking out manatee sanctuaries and designated swim areas. All of our employees are Crystal River Florida natives, being born and raised here gives us the opportunity to supply you with all the information needed to fully enjoy the experience that is Kings Bay.

Join us for an unforgettable guided clear-kayak tour of Crystal River! Our expert local guides provide you with the best chances to see wild manatees and other wildlife in our beautiful waterways! The maximum weight allowed for one rider is 250 lbs, and the maximum weight is 450 lbs for two riders. Includes all necessary safety equipment, as well as free parking at our shop! Crystal River is home to beautiful fresh water springs, a large variety of wildlife, and or course our most famous residents - West Indian Manatees. During the Summer months, the Bay holds approximately 75 to 80 resident manatees. Each winter between 700 and 1000 manatees migrate here seeking out our three first magnitude spring systems, each with a constant temperature of 72° to 74° F (23° C). Even in the warm summer months, Crystal River has a local population of 70-100 manatees that remain here year round. Due to efforts by many local, state and federal entities, our manatee population is thriving. We feel that an in-water swim experience is an important part of this education and conservation effort. Our team of highly trained in-water guides ensure your experience with this cherished and threatened species is handled with the utmost care and respect by encouraging passive observation. As the leaders in the industry we feel it is our duty to have all our tours conducted by professionals. Our Manatee snorkel tours are guided by USCG Captain as well as a licensed and insured dive professional. Our in water professionals are trained as first responders, with First aid, CPR, AED administration and in-water rescue training. Captain and guides are also trained in manatee manners, through the Manatee Eco Tourism Association in coordination with United States Fish and Wildlife Service. The training allows us to lead the industry by operating the saftest tours on the water for our guest and manatees alike.

Enjoy a close, personal encounter with the West Indian Manatee as you snorkel with them under the guidance of a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain. Our small group (no more than six guests) tours are conducted daily in the beautiful Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. Get up close and personal with these amazing mammals and learn about the ecosystem and their habitat.  Unlike many tours, these Captains will actually swim with you and your group to ensure that you have a memorable experience. While in the water, your captain/tour guide will take high-definition photos and videos of you and your group which you will be able to view and purchase at the end of your trip.  Your price includes all snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, wetsuit) and complimentary coffee or hot cocoa.

We keep our groups as a semi-private experience with a maximum of 6 guests each trip, as we find it creates a much more enjoyable and relaxed experience for everyone aboard. Our vessel is 26 feet long, fully covered, and has plenty of room for everyone aboard to get great views all around. Tours can be booked public or private and trips leave 4 times a day!

Your Manatee Journey starts here! Enjoy the confidence that our Facility holds a U.S. Fish & Wildlife Special Use Permit for swimming with manatees. This permit is designed to assist you during your manatee encounter and beyond. Manatee education, snorkeling prep work and all gear needed will be provided. No parking fee nor No entry fee! The small group size of no more than 6 per boat helps ensure that both your group and the manatees are having a safe and fun time. Our experienced Coast Guard Captains and Professional Guides will make this an unforgettable trip. Manatees are wild animals enjoying their natural habitat. Your dive crew will instruct you as needed while snorkeling with these Gentle Giants. Your Guide will be taking photos and videos during the experience. At the end of the tour, we offer a complimentary shower & towel.
