We are in need of a caregiver on Tuesday 9-4 and Saturday 11-7 in our Apollo home to care for Bruce. We are aware we need to have flexibility. Bruce is 60 years old and had a stroke 4 years ago. He has gained movement on the affected side of his body and is walking with assistance and moving his arm is following along. Bruce is very expressive with his gestures and communicating his wants and needs and his speech increases every day. The support needed is bathing, dressing, transfers, all with assistance from Bruce as well as family. Working with Bruce on therapies such as assistance with walking, arm movement, and speech all with assistance from PT's and OT's, speech therapists and the family. Light housekeeping and meal prep as time allows. In general, coming alongside daily activities.

I need senior care provider with experience. Our care concerns are: Medication Prompting, Help Staying Physically Active, Companionship. Important - experience with managing and administering medication is required. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. Will need daily visits in May. May 17 to 29.

Both parents work from home. He is breastfed so mom will take care of feedings. We have two cats in the house.

S is a 4-year-old only child. She is energetic, loves to be help, and has a big imagination. We would prefer someone who will play with her, do crafts, and even bake goodies! We are a very easy-going family and will provide you with anything needed to help make our little girl's experience with you the best one yet. If you are reliable, consistent, outgoing, enthusiastic, upbeat, bubbly, and can handle constant interaction we would love to meet you! We are not searching for someone to come in the home to sit on the couch and only be a pair of eyes for our girl.

Max rate $20/hr. Need someone reliable with plenty of availability. We have 1 boy who is almost age 2 (early May); 1 boy who is almost age 4 (early April); 1 boy who is 5; & for the next month or two, 1 girl who is almost age 4 (late May). The kids are spirited, bright, helpful, & fun. They love to play. They need a very loving, strict sitter who remains calm & is proactive--not just leave them to just watch TV. Normally we need week nights, not consistent. E. g., last week we needed help Wed & Thurs nights. This week, we need Thursday and Saturday nights. Hours vary, but almost always 5-10ish, sometimes later. Sometimes Sat./Sun. afternoons or evenings for 4-6 hrs. Kids go to bed at 7-ish, so responsibilities include playing, making a simple dinner like nuggets/fries or Spaghettios, bedtime routine, cleaning up from dinner.

About who needs care: I am a 67-year-old woman. I need transportation to a doctor appt this week in Pittsburgh. I can walk short distances, but get a bit short winded doing most activities. If I am impressed by the caregiver I could use help preparing meals and maybe light housework. About the care needs: Kind and thoughtful. Not overly chatty or talkative. They don't have to have any skills other than what a normal housewife would have. If I have surgery in a few months, I would need them more hours until I was well. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
