Looking for a patient, encouraging tutor to help my 7th grade son stay on track with homework. He's bright, in honors classes, and capable--just tends to lose focus or take the scenic route to finishing assignments. He's also a creative kid who plays bass clarinet in the school band and guitar in a private band program, so someone who appreciates music or knows how to connect with music is a huge plus. The ideal tutor will: • Help him stay focused and complete daily homework • Keep sessions structured but positive • Encourage time management and good study habits • Bonus if you can weave in organization skills or connect learning to his musical interests A few afternoons per week would be great. Sessions can be in person or virtual, depending on location and fit
