About the job
We are looking for a patient, reliable, and experienced math tutor to support a 7-year-old girl currently in 3rd grade. The tutor will focus on reviewing and strengthening 2nd grade math skills while also providing support in 3rd grade math and homework. Responsibilities: Review and reinforce 2nd grade math concepts (addition, subtraction, place value, word problems, early multiplication/division). Provide instruction and support in 3rd grade math (multiplication/division facts, fractions, time, measurement, problem-solving, etc.). Assist with homework and class assignments. Build confidence and encourage a positive attitude toward math. Qualifications: Experience tutoring or teaching elementary school math (2nd-3rd grade level preferred). Strong communication skills and patience with young learners.
