I am seeking to hire 1-2 individuals with some experience working with autistic individuals. The particular individual is a nonverbal young adult who enjoys being outside and in the water. Individual is nonverbal and needs assistance with some ADLs. Other focus is on understanding body in space, self-regulation, and assistance/support with academic goals. Additional support of the individual at outside appointments including occupational therapy, music therapy and vision therapy. The hours are Monday through Wednesday between 8:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. with occasional weekend babysitting. The shifts are broken up into 4-4. 5 hour time chunks. Additionally person would become an employee of Engaging Therapies with opportunity to expand their services to other people over time.
