About the job
Seeking a caregiver/tutor to accompany our smart and active 19-year-old son with autism to daily activities on 2 weekdays: Mondays and Fridays, and some Saturdays (not every weekend). Duties include participating in various activities with him during the day: calisthenics, hiking, reading, art, games, etc. and also accompanying him to different places in the community with peers. Assisting him with college-level academic assignments is also a part of this position. Must have own transportation. Hours are 10:00-5:00 on Mondays and Fridays, and flexible on occasional Saturdays. Paid training provided. Skills/education: at least two years of experience working w/school-aged children or teens with disabilities, high school diploma required, some college preferred.
