Seeking A Direct Support Professional For Young Adult With Autism In East Syracuse

We are looking to hire a Direct Support Professional for our 21-year-old son with Autism in East Syracuse. He loves music, reading, playing , video games, board games, Manga, and Jiu-Jitsu. Goal is to help provide him with the opportunity to access his community, help him build on life's skills, both in and outside the home, while encouraging independence and establishing self-confidence. Pay is $24/hour and up to 20 hrs./week. Days/hours are flexible with goal to establish a schedule that works for everyone. Ideally 2-3 days a week, M-F, anywhere between the hours of 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. and some occasional Saturdays. Must have HS diploma or GED. Must have clean driving record, valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must complete and pass background check.
