Earn some extra income spending time with a delightful young man with IDD. He is nonverbal but very social, loves people, pets, music, swimming. Labeled autistic due to lack of language skills, but is quite laid back and easy going, laughs and jokes a lot, gives lots of hugs. Need a companion to care for him at home and in community three shifts per week (12 hours) in the afternoons and an occasional evening/weekend, AND can do occasional overnite stays. Schedule is flexible. A happy person, who likes to swim and plan fun outings, as well as be comfortable hanging in our home sometimes would be a great fit! He has some health concerns: incontinence, is prone to infection, seizure disorder. He lives with his sister & brother in law. We've trained ourselves and many others, some first timers. His big spirit makes it worth the while.
