I am in search of an energetic special needs caregiver for my 26-year-old son with autism. Assistance is needed with light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation. Duties include providing companionship and some social interaction. He lives in his own home with a roommate. He is no longer in school and participates in various activities throughout the day, such as art, drumming, kayaking, and nature walks. He likes to bowl, swim, attend sports games, and spend time with family and friends. The applicant must be willing to be trained through MORC/ARC of Oakland County. The pay is $22/hour. The days and hours are flexible, with more hours available in the future, starting with three days per week. The person must also be willing to be trained in Spell to Communicate, paid for, and offered by the employer and practiced during the shift
