The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, confident in navigating behavioral challenges, and bring a thoughtful, grounded presence to the home. The family's previous nanny was with them for five years and is relocating out of state, so this is a valued role with deep roots and potential for longevity. The schedule can be flexible depending on your needs: 30 to 40 hours per week, with core hours of 12 to 8 p.m. A shorter shift of 2 to 8 p.m. is available for those seeking reduced hours. To be considered, you must have a college degree, a valid California driver's license, your own reliable vehicle, and a minimum of 5 to 8 years of full-time experience working with special needs children. A background in special education or therapeutic environments would be a significant plus.
