Manhattan UES family seeking an experienced caregiver for a sweet and funny 23-year-old young lady. Client uses a power chair and a speech generating device as she is non verbal. Needs full support for all ADLs including toileting. Caregiver ideally should have experience with disabilities and and should feel comfortable lifting and transferring a young adult of 75 pounds. The work day is very active including attending classes around the city, visiting museums, and supporting social opportunities. Light household tasks. Must be legal to work in USA. Benefits include PTO. Hours 8am-4 p.m. $35/hour with time and half pay for overtime and holidays. Some afternoons may be needed as back up for other team members.
