Aides (Interveners) For DeafBlind Preteen

Looking for 1 primary full-time caregiver and 2 backup supports for my Deafblind daughter who is also diagnosed with Developmental Delays, Speech Delay due to her limited access to her environment. Please review the following requirements for this position: Fluent in ASL/TASL preferred. Knowledge of early childhood/elementary aged skills are necessary to support her educational goals. Willingness to take Intervener Training. Willingness to expand your knowledge of protractile language/culture for Deafblind individuals and other Deafblind services. Must meet requirements for Kansas City Regional Office screening/consideration. Attend community outings to encourage exploration and safety. (Always 2 aides present) Willing to accompany family on vacation if needed. *Maximum hours requires approval from KCRO.
