Seeking A Caregiver For Autistic Young Adult In Potomac, MD

We are looking for a companion for our 25-year-old son. He is autistic and non-speaking; he uses a keyboard to spell to communicate which is how we know how smart, easy-going and hilarious he is! The position would involve hanging out with him and watching TV/movies, reading books to him, and taking him out in the community to grocery shop, go on walks and go to the movies.. We are looking for someone for either Saturday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The ideal candidate would have some experience working with autistic individuals but, more importantly, we are looking for someone with a big heart, a willingness to learn, be flexible and have a sense of humor. We will provide training. The candidate would need to have a car.
