Part-time caregiver needed for our 20 y/o daughter with Autism - non-verbal, cognitive and mobility challenges, controlled seizure disorder in DeKalb. L is very laid back and happy. She's the size of a 5th grader, functions between an infant and toddler. Her laugh is contagious!! She loves the outdoors. Requirements: Lift up to 90lbs, push wheelchair uphill, feeding, bath/toileting, meal prep, grocery, light housekeeping, walks, outings. Hours can expand July 1 - mid-August. Varied nights and weekend hours available as well. Position paid for by the state, $17. 65/hr. Requires a separate application. Great position for CNA/nursing students. Open to more than one assistant to cover the odd hours needed. We are a pet-loving, LGBTQ+, neuro-spicy home - smoke/drug free.
