Looking for a part-time caregiver for 16-year-old family member with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cognitive Disabilities, Developmental Delays in the Sandy Springs area. We are looking for a wonderful woman to help in caregiving tasks for this sweet young man who is nonverbal, wears pull ups, and requires assistance with hygiene. He is ambulatory and can feed himself. A typical care day will run 11-4 or 5 on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. The caregiver will be responsible for managing hygiene care throughout the day and carrying trash out twice a day, engaging with him while watching videos, playing games, and other activities. Mom will always be at home and available and may also sometimes take caregiver and son on errands and outings to give him some time away from home in the community.
