About the job
This sweet girl likes being outside-walking or being pushed in her adaptive stroller, loves music, singing+dancing. She doesn't like lots of people+loud noises. She plays with dolls, does puzzles and looks at books but needs someone sitting with her to do so. She's diagnosed with ASD and ADHD. She uses an AAC device to communicate and has some self injurious behaviors so please have some experience in both those domains. Caregiver is responsible for working on eating, toileting and playing. Most importantly, we need a caregiver who understands profound autism, doesn't judge, is loving, has high energy and who can go with the flow while keeping her engaged and safe. Hours are M-F 2:30pm-5:30 p.m. and flexible weekend hours. (We're open to hiring more than one caregiver to cover all the hours) Pay is DOE but range is $25-$30. Thank you!
