About the job

Our son is 22 years old and has autism. He is friendly with a good personality. He needs someone to motivate him to eat and go out in the community . We want him to engage in activities through his residence as well. Verbal prompts and showing him how to get himself ready is important. We are looking for him to become more independent not dependent on others to do things for him. Experience with autism a plus but not required. An energetic and kind person who will patiently wait for him to answer and learn how to negotiate his surroundings is a must. Helping him with light housekeeping, laundry is helpful but food prep assistance is a must. There is some flexibility with hours. There is parking where my son lives and the light rail is very close by. He has no pets.
