About who needs care: Allen, 65, has squamous cell cancer. He is in testing phase now for medical care to come in future. He lives alone and has asked me for help. I live in Illinois and cannot get there now. He feels that he could use help in everyday tasks and helping him keep an eye on his condition. About the care needs: He would like any intelligent person who can help him order his care needs. He has not had surgery and is probably looking at upcoming radiation and chemotherapy. He will need someone who knows something about the medications involved. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
