About who needs care: My mom lives alone and can largely function independently but she has mobility challenges making her unsteady on her feet and she has very low vision. Due to both, she can no longer safely access her basement where her laundry is located, vacuum, and some other modest household chores. She would feel most comfortable showering when there is someone there, and she needs a drive to some errands. Ideally, she would have help for 4 - 6 hours/week and the timing is very flexible. About the care needs: We're very open. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
