About the job
Caregiver needed a few days a week to care for my mom (73) who has late-stage dementia. Salary negotiable based on experience. Raise available after 6-mo evaluation. My mom is nonverbal but is still very present, likes to laugh and has a good memory. Job involves helping with: -Mobility & stairs -Toileting (incontinent) -Bathing -Preparing pureed meals and assisting with eating -Housekeeping -Driving her to appointments & fun outings (mileage reimbursed) -Activities: art, music, exercise bike -Kind companionship CPR / First-Aid Training a plus. Nursing background a big plus. Two other people live in the home: the lead caretaker & my stepdad (85).
