Seeking an experienced and dependable caregiver for my partner, who has advanced lung cancer and needs assistance while I'm away (usually on Tues. from about 9:30 to 4:30 or 5). The day of week may occasionally change and/or additional daytime hours may be offered. Must be experienced with oxygen use, limited mobility, tremors, and wound care. Looking for someone who is kind and patient with a good sense of humor. Also enjoys providing quiet companionship. Duties include monitoring oxygen and comfort, assisting with meds, hydration, light lunch, snack prep, and personal care (changing Depends, cleaning down under, wound care, and clothing assistance). Light housekeeping. Quiet, peaceful home with lots of downtime while my partner rests. Feel free to bring a book or quiet hobby. Competitive pay with a supportive, welcoming environment.
