I am looking for adult care for my 56-year-old mother who is disabled, w/MS and has no use of her legs. Uses a wheelchair/rolling walker w/transfer sliding board to transfer. I am in nursing school and my husband works during the day so I will need someone on days that I have clinicals. I would need someone for those mornings to help get her dressed, up and ready for the day. Responsibilities will be helping her get dressed, personal care (wears adult diapers and has a catheter for bladder), transferring from bed to rolling walker/wheelchair w/transfer board, and then to the couch where she will spend her day watching tv. I will have a cooler made with drinks and lunch for her that you will just have to give her before leaving. She goes out to smoke once in the morning so must be okay w/taking her outside (do not have to go out w/her).
