About who needs care: Stroke survivor, about 1 year out now from a very severe stroke. Making a lot of great progress and still going to therapy three times a week. Mainly need someone 1-2 hours twice a week to help him complete certain therapy tasks aka homework. Possibly some light cleaning and occasional grocery shopping. About the care needs: An ideal caregiver would be someone that can be patient with him and semi-versed in physical therapy. He has speech aphasia so it takes a little bit for him to get out whats hes trying to say. Male or female doesnt really matter he loves working out and exercising. Hes independent for the most part so someone who can continue to help him slowly re-learn tasks. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
