About who needs care: Lives in an apartment in a retirement community Meals are provided for her, she needs help cutting up and locating food Mom is visually impaired Small, Lightweight Needs help dressing, toileting, with memory and confusion Has two daughters locally that also provide care, transportation, socializing, and medicine prep. We will we taking shifts caring for mom also. About the care needs: Recovering from a UTI She loves playing cards and simple games She likes mystery/detective shows- low violence She has a good sense of humor and loves to laugh She would prefer a woman helping her in the bathroom and with dressing Someone who could encourage her to push herself, walk more, exercise, do mind challenges, etc. She is a Christian and would love someone who would support her beliefs, read the Bible to her, pray with her, etc. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
