Caregiver In Our Home For Our 24-Year-Old Son With A Traumatic Brain Injury We are looking for a hands-on, loving, and good-natured caregiver to work in our home in Brandermill (Midlothian) helping us care for our 24-year-old son. Our son suffered a traumatic brain injury in a car accident in 2020 and is a quadriplegic and non-verbal. He is loving and engaged and communicates through blinks. Duties include: regularly repositioning and weight shifts, working with a Hoyer Lift and wheelchair, cleaning and bathing, mouth care and other activities of daily living. Some light housework. We will train. Companionship duties include reading to Matt, listening to music, sitting on the porch and playing with various toys. This position is Monday and Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Fridays 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Hourly rate is $18-$20 per hour.
