About who needs care: Mother is 89; she does her own banking and bills. She can drive herself to the doctor, grocery store to pickup groceries and medicine, and drives to get her hair done on most Fridays. She needs a honest, calm, not chatty, companion to drive and be with her. In the future, she may need help showering, yet for now, she is independent in the bathroom. She has almost constant lower back pain; MRI just completed. Sitting comfortably, her back pain is minimal. I would appreciate someone who can prepare a small hot meal for her when they are working. Mother is 89 years old and her muscles are diminishing. About the care needs: Patience. Not too chatty. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
