About who needs care: She has had arthritis for 50 years and has had several surgeries on her feet and hands. She is currently dealing with an open wound that she has had for over a year and they have been actively treating for the past six months. She has difficulty getting around her house and has fallen several times. She was an English teacher for 50 years and loves word games like Scrabble. She crochets and knits. About the care needs: Jill has been single her whole life and can be very opinionated. She responds well to humor and kindness. We would prefer someone who has some nursing background to handle her wound care and other needs. She is very politically conservative and would struggle with someone who had strong opposing political views. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
