Companion For A Sweet 83 Year Old

About the job

I'm a 58-year-old woman working full time and traveling every other week. My husband is retired. My 83-year-old mother is now living with us. She is pretty healthy, of sound mind and still mobile. We're very lucky! We're new to Temple and Mom is bored and lonely. There's not enough time in my day to give her everything she needs. I don't even have time to find help for her :( We're looking for a kind and patient person to: - help her with socialization and movement opportunities - take her to Dr appointments, physical therapy and shopping - take her to senior center activities (maybe quilting guild) (We don't need help with laundry -- Care. com keeps adding it.) My mother doesn't drive, so please figure in car maintenance and gas into the price per hour. We're flexible with days and times and looking for help for 6-8 hours a week.
