About the job
I need senior care provider with knowledge about Parkinson's. My Dad requires assistance with all AL'S (he can feed himself, but sometimes needs help). His voice can be weak and requires patience and encouragement. He receives daily meals on Wheels, but you would need to prepare breakfast and dinner for him. Be a companion and interact with him. He has a handicapped van and enjoys outings on occasion. Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, sweeping and mopping as needed, wiping counters & toilet). My Daddyvis a good sized man, 5'10', 210#. You need to be able to safely transfer him on your own from bed to wheelchair, to toilet, to recliner etc... His shower days are M-W-F, but sometime if has bad incontinent episode, may require a prn shower or sponge bath. This is being listed for Tues. & Thurs., with potential to puck up other shifts.
