About who needs care: Trying to recover from several surgeries. Has Parkinsons. Needs someone to be able to not only care for her, but also provide companionship and be with her throughout the day. About the care needs: Warm, kind, compassionate, empathetic and fun personality that truly does their job because they care about the individual, not one that is frustrated with their job and doesn't like what they are doing, and is in it for just the paycheck. A registered nurse would be ideal that has dealt with all types of medical needs. She is trying to recover from a few surgeries that botched her up pretty good and is trying to to regain muscle mass and strength to, at the very least, move a wheelchair or push herself up on the bed. She also has Parkinsons and it has always been a pretty milder form of it. Dont know how much of that is now playing a role, if any, in it. She needs someone almost like a friend/companion that can take care of her & almost be a sitter for her throughout the daytime into the evening possibly. Not overnight necessarily Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
