Part-time Care For Stroke Patient (Addison / Carrollton)

We are looking for a compassionate caregiver to help my dad who is recovering from a stroke. Job is located in the Addison/Carrollton area. The ideal caregiver will be available Monday through Friday from 5 - 7 p.m. My dad is currently in an outpatient program for stroke recovery. We are looking for someone to stay with him for a few hours in the evenings after he returns from therapy. Primary duties include mobility support (he is in a wheelchair and uses a cane) and help going to the bathroom. Due to the stroke, my dad has very limited use of his right leg and arm. His speech was also impacted. He is able to communicate about critical needs but still has some difficulty with his speech. Despite the challenges with his recovery, my dad is always in good spirits and is pleasant to be around. He also loves music.
