About who needs care: Father has Parkinson's with Dementia and is in Hospice care. They will handle his nursing and bathing needs. He walks with a walker still but has balance issues cause him to be a fall risk. He likes to joke around, do puzzles, play games and draw/paint. He needs some assistance with bathroom activities. Mom fell and broke her hip in August and is now home with her own PT/OT services. She is normally his primary caregiver but can't while she recovers. We need someone to help with him as well as cooking meals, some laundry and a little cleaning as needed. I am living with them for now. I work 12. 5 hour day shifts, 6 days in a row. Ginger About the care needs: Someone I can count on to not call in all the time, that can get up when Dad moves around and that can be patient with him. His speech is slurry most of the time. The time needed will be through October and most of November. I don't have an end date at this time. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
