About who needs care: Conditions: Dementia Delirium Sundowners Stage 5 Kidney Disease with one kidney functioning at 9% Fluctuating low and high blood pressure Heart problems Confusion Agitation Wants to walk around but must use a walker. Wants to walk around a lot but must use a walker. Sometimes does not want to use a walker and is unsteady and a fall risk, whether using the walker or not. Interests: Drinking coffee, eating sweets, arranging clothes, wants independence Doesnt have much interest in doing anything hardly. 89 years old and doesn't enjoy living sadly About the care needs: Someone with a loud, direct, but kind voice. Grandfather is deaf in one ear and legally blind. Someone that also allows him his space and independence as much as possible unless they need to act to keep him from falling or doing anything dangerous. Specialized skills, they must be strong in case he does need help up or falls. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
