About who needs care: 82-year-old man currently battling Leukemia has a live-in helper who needs caresitters while helper has appts or errands. May need to transportation to Tullahoma oncology for labs or Tullahoma Vanderbilt for blood transfusion. Caresitting would be getting drinks or snacks, watching TV, making sure they don't fall during trips to bathroom About the care needs: Patient is a bit of an introvert so endless talk isn't necessary. He's post chemo and still underweight and weak. Uses a walker in the house and does daily PT from his chair. Caregiver who would encourage his exercise would be a bonus Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
