We are looking for a warm, kind, and intellectually curious person to support a wonderful man who is recovering from late-stage colon cancer and experiencing significant anxiety and related complications. He is gay, politically liberal, and has a great sense of humor, so someone who can appreciate that and connect with him on a human level is very important. Care Needs: A compassionate caregiver who is comfortable working with a colostomy bag (or open to learning) Assistance with light meal preparation Basic cleanup and simple household support A compassionate caregiver who is comfortable working with a colostomy bag (or open to learning) Ideal Candidate: LGBTQ+ affirming and politically liberal or at least fully respectful of his views Comfortable supporting someone with serious illness and anxiety Emotionally attuned
