Seeking an experienced, reliable, and compassionate caregiver to care for our mother in her 90's. Seeking a part/full-time hands-on daily care for morning, mid day, & bedtime routines. The ideal match must be dependable, patient, respectful, caring, a strong communicator, compassionate and experienced with early dementia/Alzheimer's. Experience with personal hygiene including bladder & bowel management for dignity, hygiene, and wellness. Assist with dress, mobility, exercises, and administering medication is required. Some light housework, disinfecting, and vacuuming is involved. Assistance with bathing is a requirement. Additional responsibilities are meal preparation and attention to swallowing difficulty. Providing companionship & social interaction is key. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained.
