My dad will be healing from his essentially 4th brain surgery, w/ recent history of cancer and treatment. We are exploring care for him. He lives with his wife, who is somewhat independent but does have a physical disability that limits her. She is not able to assist him physically. We are looking for someone to assist him with needs, he will be on a path to recovery with PT/OT/ST rehab visits. I am located 2 hrs away, my sister lives in Germany. His needs and care is our main concern right now. They are currently located in Sanatoga Greene. Someone who is skilled in memory and cognitive care would be ideal. He is shaking off hospital PTSD. Help with changing. Safety cues. Mobility assistance. We are looking into additional home care help for my mom which would fill in gaps with errands, and help with transportation to his appts.
